Habitat for Humanity - Annual Walk-A-Thon

29 November 2018

Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in nearly 1,400 communities across the United States and in about 70 countries around the world. Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat works toward our vision by building strength, stability and self-reliance in partnership with people and families in need of a decent and affordable home.
We had more than 200 students wanting to join and help raise money for Habitat. In order to become a member you need to volunteer for 20 hours in your community, then you will be considered officially a member.
Many of our habitat students go on Classroom Without Walls trips to build houses all around the world.

One of the annual fundraising events they host is the Walk-A-Thon. It is a great time for students to get together and participate in various fun events and enjoy a meal together.
