DHS students went on a classroom without walls trip to France and Belgium. Most of the first days were spent visiting many of the major landmarks in Paris, France including Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, the Pyramide du Louvre, Place Vendôme and many more, including the iconic Eiffel Tower. They then visited Caen, the historical city that became the capital of Normandy in 912, and its center features the Château de Caen, a circa-1060 castle built by William the Conqueror. From Caen they headed to Belgium where they explored various medieval and investigated Western Front WW1 Battlefields and History of the First World War with visits to Arras and the Artois Battlefields.
They ended the trip by spending a day in Disneyland and visiting the Louvre.
