Admissions and Registrar for Summer 2021

American School Dhahran (formerly Dhahran High School) is closed for the summer school break. However, if you have any of the below requests, the following information should help direct your questions. 

Applications for SY 2021- 2022

ASD is still accepting applications for the school year 2021- 2022. Please note, however, that seats are limited. The review of complete applications will resume in August.

Requesting a Schedule Change

Schedule changes are not being received or reviewed during the summer months. In August, students will receive instructions on how and when to submit a course request change. Please do not email your request to any other ASD email address, as no one will be receiving and documenting the requests. Any course change requests or questions will need to be re-submitted in August to receive a response.

Withdrawing from DHS

Final Transcripts to Universities

All final transcripts have been mailed to the university which  graduates have indicated on their Graduate Information form sent to them by the registrar, Ms. Daisy Soltanian. Should there be a change in your university of choice, please contact  Ms. Chantilly Julio at during the summer months.

AP Exam Concerns or Issues

If you need to contact Collegeboard or have other questions regarding the June AP Exams, please refer to the AP Exam 2021 Announcements emailed to students. You can either complete the form  or email Collegeboard directly at

AP Refunds

AP refunds will be made to those students who did not take their AP exam this June 2021. Information will be sent on instructions on how to proceed with the refund. On- campus availability

The Admissions Coordinator will be available in July every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Please inform us 2 days in advance of your possible visit to grant access to enter the campus at
